Major Tom was contacted by EQUAL to develop their brand and visual identity, manage their communication on multiple channels and help them organise an inauguration event.
The brand needed a human, friendly, approachable and modern look. We worked on the name of the association together and created a logo and branding guidelines before moving on to the actual production work for online, offline, collaterals, office supplies, etc.
The main challenge was the tight deadline. The inauguration party was already scheduled and we had to coordinate everything using a very strict retro-planning to make sure everything was delivered on time.
Our first task was to come up with a name that would convey the values of the associations and reflect the direction they wanted to take.
A modern geometric logo was then created, along with broad graphical guidelines.
We worked with a phased approach. First, Major Tom built a static single page responsive website in three languages.
Aside from giving EQUAL a web presence, that first website was used to materialise the branding guidelines in an online environment. We also set up social media accounts and tools.
Phase two consists in a database driven responsive website that the EQUAL team can manage on their own. Now that the inauguration is over, we have a bit more breathing room to create a long-lasting web presence.
More efforts will also be dedicated to social media.
Major Tom single handedly organised the inauguration event for EQUAL. We took care of the catering, hired the staff needed for the event, took care of the artists we invited and even rehearsed their presentations with the EQUAL team.
Our own Juan Arcas was on stage to introduce the speakers. Each of them delivered a great speech: we were as thrilled as the audience.
More than 500 guests showed up that day. As the evening went on, we had a photograph taking pictures and a journalist interviewed a few guests to produce a video of the event.
Long term vision
As with most of our clients, we developed a long term relationship with EQUAL.
After working together at such a frantic pace for a couple of months, EQUAL knows that we can tackle any communication-related challenge together: we will find the team they need and help them manage it.
